David Caughran comes across as the shy, unassuming one in the group. However, once he gets a guitar in hand, his personality shines through like beacon of light. With roots deep in “Rock N Roll”, David gives the band a “Rock” sensibility with just enough twang to keep it “Country.” Quiet but quick witted, David is known for “one-liners”, napping right before a show, and one of the finest collection of American made guitars.
Bass/Vocals
David Torres or “Big D” to most, is a big man in stature and an even bigger gentlemen in person. David anchors The Haymakers with the big, full bass sound that Country Music is known for. However, don’t let his calm and friendly demeanor fool you. David can toss down a jug of “apple pie” with the best of them and make a salsa that will melt your face off.
